This is the subsonic .357 Magnum purpose-built for shooters who expect reliability, cleanliness, and near-silent operation. The Silent But Deadly (SBD) line was engineered to burn clean and recoil soft, giving you smooth, repeatable performance every time you pull the trigger.

Designed to stay subsonic, this round is a standout performer in suppressed lever-action rifles. In our Henry and Marlin platforms it feeds flawlessly and delivers an impressively low report when paired with a suppressor. Quiet shooting, zero cycling headaches.

You might ask, “Why not just shoot .38 Special?” You can, but .38 has a habit of causing hiccups in modern lever guns. So we built a full-case .357 Magnum that cycles the way it should while still keeping the soft-shooting feel you want.

We originally built these with XTP projectiles, but they require significantly more velocity to expand. Since this load isn’t meant to push that fast, we switched to a Complete Metal Jacket Flat Point for better consistency, accuracy, and terminal stability at subsonic speeds. Expansion wasn’t the goal. Reliability and control were.
