Serious outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, fishermen and hikers alike spend a lot of time in bear country.  Nobody wants to surprise one of those big fellows, much less engage one face to face.   

This was a challenging development project.   Traditional hardcast lead was producing terrible fouling and poor accuracy with the Glock, Sig and Smith & Wesson test platforms.  Pushing them faster was starting to deform the cases in the Glock chamber.   We found the thick plating of these projectiles provided excellent accuracy and zero fouling.   Plenty of energy, to penetrate +60" of ballistic gel...don't jump in front of one of these babies.  

We've developing the Bear Down Collection to give you the firepower and performance advantage.   We've tested and developed each round with the best possible projectile for terminal performance on a thick skinned, big boned critter that's determined you are their next meal.  Superior penetration, bone crushing hard cast penetration, you won't want to use these for anything less than the biggest beasts.   

The 200 grain CMJFP is moving out at 1,200 FPS. from an 5" barrel. Not all barrels are created equal, chronographs don't always agree with each other and atmospheric conditions affect velocities. That being said, in our results, the radar and chrono agreed.

Suitable for backwoods defense, hunting or destroying a field full of melos.
