Hornady's high quality XTP projectiles are famous for their controlled expansion and bonded jacket. Designed to deliver expansion of 1.5 x it's diameter, insuring deep penetration. We have designed this round to be hard hitting and accurate, made with flash suppressed powder.

Not all barrels are created equal, chronographs don't always agree with each other and atmospheric conditions affect velocities. That being said, we believe that you can expect to get around 1,150 fps out of a 4" barrel with this round.
