This is an extremely low recoil self defense load, that won't make your hand hurt when shooting it from even the lightest weight snub nosed revolver. You will not find a lighter recoiling load in our inventory. Perfect for the recoil adverse shooter. 

Why use a Double Ended Wad Cutter? Because most hollow points that can be comfortably fired from a snubby will not be going fast enough to expand reliably. So they often end up performing like an FMJ. Our DEWC will punch a clean, 38 caliber hole and tumble when it hits bone or gristle. Our fast burning powder charge and Rim Rock Bullet's lead DEWC will help you to get peak performance out of your light weight snub nosed revolver.

Not all barrels are created equal, chronographs don't always agree with each other and atmospheric conditions affect velocities. That being said, we believe that you can expect to get around 1,000 fps out of a 2" barrel with this round.
