A flat shooter with match accuracy and a crisp light recoil. The Montana Gold Jacketed Hollow Point projectiles used to make this round are match grade. The high antimony lead alloy core is harder than most, lending to uniform controlled expansion, high weight retention and deep penetration. Not all barrels are created equal, chronographs don't always agree with each other and atmospheric conditions affect velocities. That being said, we believe that you can expect to get around 1,475 fps out of a 4.5" barrel with this round, maybe a little more. The Glock 31, 4.49" we used got an average velocity of 1,488 fps. We used to advertise the exact same round as 1,550 out of a 5" barrel.
